Here is a fun song to help with counting.
We have been reviewing numbers 1-10 and are working on identifying them in French, out of sequence.
You can support your child’s French learning by asking him or her to teach you French numbers (even if you already know them – you may need a 5-year-old tutor!).
Encourage your children to identify numbers both in English and French. You can also ask them to tell you « how many —- » they see, in English, French and other languages your children may speak. For example, « How many glasses are on the table? » or « How many shoes are on the shoe rack? » If your child resists, change topics and try it again on another day :)
